Put A Stake In My Heart

Put a stake in my heart.
You'll need it, no garlic
Or silver bullet meet
To keep me out.

Put a stake in my heart.
Or better still,
Stab me with that pitch fork tongue—
I'll bleed.
The only time I'll bleed.

Put a stake in my heart
And for good measure,
Pour kerosene like an art.
Light it up! Light it up!

Take in that glorious sight,
Lap it up! Lap it up!
Laugh out if you like.

If an atom be undead,
My love be undead.

I'll come haunt you in the night
