My Voice

Farrokhi Yazdi (1887-1939) was an Iranian Poet, who was considered the revolutionary poet. His poetry was so revolutionary that his lips were sewed together with needle and thread by the order of the Government of Yazd, but his pen kept writing.

Interesting thing is that in modern time, poets lips are already sewed without needle and thread. World is never problem free, the political problems are becoming the world problem, whenever two countries fight; people of whole world get affected. The poet should highlight such problems, but modern world is more entertainment oriented. Poetry is becoming celebration rather than mission. There I no doubt that all colors should shine, but poetry should have some cause for humanity, nature and universe, we must not forget it.

Here we are with new issue,

Hope you find some real poetry here.
