My Voice

Khalil Gibran says

Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.

 

Singing is silence which is swimming in the river of pain and sorrow. Pain is life and life is again death. This riddle goes on, and we keep searching about life and death in poetry. Buddha, in fact, started his journey in an effort to understand the riddle of death and time. The attachment and non-attachment related to life and death is a subject which provokes us to think and write.

Though we are curious about  Death, we get upset with Death due to cruelty and war like situation.

This is how, we keep singing the songs of life and death.

A new year is the death of gone year,
